Well I finally got my Nikon D40. I'm really excited to finally have a DSLR. I know it's not the best, but compared to my point and shoot this is worlds apart.

I have tried posting pictures from my first few shoots so far. I hope you like them. Any comments you have are always welcome.

I do feel partially frustrated with my photography situation. I currently live in a dinky little town that has very little to offer in the visual realm. Thankfully I'm planning a substantial move later this year that should offer some excitement.
